Hi, I’m Selina 👋

I’m the photographer and videographer behind Memories by Selina, based in Cupar, Fife, and happily travelling across most of mainland Scotland to capture weddings, families, newborns and all those moments you’ll want to remember.

I photographed my first wedding in 2017, and I’ve loved every minute of telling people’s stories through photographs ever since. My approach is relaxed, fun and very much centred around you. Every couple is different, so I adapt to what you need rather than trying to fit you into a set way of doing things.

I’m naturally drawn to documentary-style photography — capturing the hugs, laughter, happy tears, crazy dance moves and all those little moments that happen without you even noticing. I’ll give you some simple prompts when needed, but I’m not about forcing awkward poses or turning your wedding day into a photoshoot. I want you to enjoy your day while I quietly capture the story as it unfolds.

My work has been recognised with multiple Legacy Awards across the wedding and newborn categories, as well as 1st and 3rd place at Creative Recharge for wedding photography. I was also honoured to be named Family Photographer of the Year at the Prestige Awards.

I’m a professional, fully insured photographer and hold an HND in Photography, so while I’m all about keeping things relaxed and fun, you can also have confidence that your memories are in experienced hands.

For me, photography is about more than simply taking a beautiful picture. It’s about creating images that bring you straight back to how you felt in that moment — the people you were surrounded by, the laughter, the emotion and all the little details you might otherwise forget.
